Hello,
It has been a while since I have had to install a new YAFPC. I am installing on our new VMWare server. The problem is this server's subnet does not have DHCP. How can I setup the IP address manually?
Thanks,
Jason

Dont Have DHCP, Need to set IP ManuallyHello,
It has been a while since I have had to install a new YAFPC. I am installing on our new VMWare server. The problem is this server's subnet does not have DHCP. How can I setup the IP address manually? Thanks, Jason Hi,
with no DHCP it will setup networking to static IP address 192.168.0.1 without gateway settings. For first connection you must have a client workstation with an IP address in subnet 192.168.0.0/24 (e.g. 192.168.0.2). You can connect then with your browser to http://192.168.0.1 and setup the static IP address of the appliance in "Network Settings". For more information about setting up the network please read the manual (online or on the CD image). |
