PDF Server YAFPC-Appliance Forum

Hi Wolfgang,
I purcheced VM Appliance version YAFPC2.00.
Word, Excel, conversion are fine but not for ppt files.

How to duplicate.
1. Create new powerpoint presentation
2. In the title type "123456789012345678901234" with one line.
3. Save the file and print as PDF using YAFPC.
4. PDF will create two line like follows.
"12345678901234567890"
"1234"

I want YAFPC to show exactly what user see.
I've tried many settings on YAFPC also PPT side, but can't resolve the issue.

Hi,
This is a known problem with PowerPoint when the printer is set to more than 600dpi.
Please do the following:
- insert you own account to the PrinterAdmin list (Admin Settings), reconfigure;
- navigate to the "Printers & Fax Machines" folder on the Appliance (Network environment);
- Open the Printer Properties there;
- Open the "Enhanced" Tab;
- Click the "Standard Settings" Buttom;
- Click the "Enhanced" Button;
- Find the "Graphics: Print quality" and set it to 300dpi;

In my environment this works fine with PowerPoint and other applications.
