Feature to modify Image compression?
Hi,
is there a feature or option to modify the compression of images in converted pdf´s like in Adobe Acrobat?
There you can say images should be in xyz% of quality in created pdf´s, or don´t leave quality, because the images are still fragmented.

Thomas
Hi,
I didn't find any similar settings for GhostScript. So it seems not to be possible.

I think, there are a few parameters for ghostscript to fix my Problem, becaus freepdfxp.de has a PDF Maker based on ghostscript and there u can change quality settings.
here is a little article in german with a screenshot.

i've read some other articles about ghostscript, but can't find the Option.
-dDownsampleMonoImages=false
-dDownsampleGrayImages=false
-dDownsampleColorImages=false
these options sounds good?

i don't know if these Parameters can haelp, but you can change these settings in the shared printer preferences as well.
Click on advanced and there alre the Image compression settings. "flate" means no changes.
Now i have an other question: can i set this option as defalt in the printerdriver?
If i change this as a client, the settings will be set to default at the next printing job.
Yes they will, but for this client only.
